Description

EDIT 3/28/18 Finally decided to change the title and description according to what I've been doing with shikai pics from :iconartoflariz:

The Commander of the Gotei 13; Akio received the position after his father Haichi, the previous Commander, fell in battle during The Quincy Betrayal. Akio's Shikai, Chikyu-Ujigami (Guardian of the Earth) is an earth type Zanapkuto, with which he as able to manipulate the earth around him, though only slightly. He is able to make his Zanpakuto's blade split apart into several pieces, and send them flying towards his enemy.
